Steady growth predicted for the restaurant and catering industry in UK and Europe

Despite the current economic challenges and the increase of business operating costs in the UK, reports by FutureFood Services are still predicting steady market growth for out of home dining to be 2.4% in 2025 - reaching a total value of £105.3bn - a £2.4bn increase on the market size at the end of 2024.
There is more good news in May 2025 for the UK restaurant and catering industry, which sees Councils and London borough authorities in the UK supporting businesses with the launch of the ‘Summer Streets Fund’, helping with the costs of extending business hours and the creation of new outdoor dining areas for the summer months.
